From a childhood wrapped in fabrics to leading a soft, slow revolution
The seed of O was planted in the sensory memories of Bea's childhood. Rooted by parents in the textile industry, some of her earliest memories are of napping under cutting tables, surrounded by fabric scraps and the distinctive scent of new materials. She fondly recalls sticking her head between fabric rolls during family trips to textile stores, enchanted by the colors, textures, and possibilities they represented.
Through these experiences, Bea wasn't just surrounded by fabrics, she was immersed in an understanding that materials have origins, that craftsmanship carries dignity, and that quality transcends trends.
As she witnessed the industry's growing disconnect between making and using, the culture of excess clashed with what she calls "Grandma's way", investing in fewer, longer-lasting items that can be cherished with each passing year.
Now a mother of two, Bea's vision found new urgency. Living in Puebla, she draws daily inspiration from Mexico's rich textile traditions, blending ancestral techniques with modern sustainability practices. While her journey led through law school and an MBA, she ultimately recognized the need for a complete redefinition of luxury itself.
O, standing for Organic, Original, Outstanding, and symbolizing both the eternal return of the circular form and the shape of our planet, is Bea's expression of a world where luxury embraces sustainability, and elegance harmonizes with mindful living.
